"Mostly works, but delivery can be hit or miss"
I’ve been using Mobile Text Alerts for basic updates, and for the most part, it does what I need. Setup was straightforward, and most of the time the messages go out without any drama. What more do you really want for simple texting updates, right?
That said, the delivery reliability hasn’t been perfect. A few texts arrived later than expected, and one time a couple of people said they never got the message at all. It’s not a total dealbreaker, but if timing really matters, isn’t that kind of the whole point?

I use it for different staff groups. Adding people is easy. Moving them around is simple too. Texts go to the right people.

I’ve used the mobile app a few times now, and for me it’s been solid. The texts seem to go out fast, which is the main thing I need. I just wish editing contacts felt a little smoother.

"Two-way texting was kind of a headache"
I wanted the two-way texting to be simple, but it got frustrating quickly. Replies were delayed, and the message threads became confusing to follow. It wasn’t always clear who I was responding to or what the latest update was, which made the whole thing more annoying than helpful

They did eventually get back to me, but it took longer than I expected. I felt like I had to put in more effort than I should’ve just to get a simple reply.

"Importing and exporting contacts was a mess"
I tried moving my contacts in and out, but the CSV files kept getting messed up and the export didn’t even include all the fields I needed. I reached out to support, but the help was minimal. It made me question how polished or reliable the tool really is.

I mean, managing my account could definitely be a little easier, but it’s not like it’s terrible or anything. I’ve been able to get things done, even if some parts take more clicking around than they probably should.

"Personal messages that actually feel respectful"
I really like how easy it is to add someone’s name into each text. It makes our reminders feel a lot less like random spam and more like we’re actually talking to a person. that feels like the right way to message people instead of just blasting everyone with the same generic note. Works well and makes the whole thing feel more personal.

"Easy start, still taking it slow"
Getting set up was straightforward. I was able to create my account without any real issues, and most of the steps were clear enough to follow. I did have to dig around a bit to find one setting, but support got back to me quickly and pointed me in the right direction. So far it feels solid, but I’m still being a little cautious since I’m new to it and want to make sure everything works reliably before fully relying on it. Giving it 4 stars for now.

"Automation is solid after a little trial and error"
I’ve been using Mobile Text Alerts lately for automated reminders, and so far it’s been doing what I need. The messages are going out on time, which is the main thing I care about, but getting some of the triggers set up recently took more poking around than I expected.
Now that I’ve just gone through the setup process, it’s fresh in my mind how clunky a few of the automation menus felt. It’s working fine for me now, but I do wish there were clearer instructions or better examples built in. Overall, it’s useful, just not as smooth as I’d hoped.

"Reporting could definitely be better"
The texting side has been mostly fine for what we need, messages go out and that part hasn’t caused many headaches, but when it comes to reporting I kept feeling like I was squinting at half the picture because I wanted simple delivery stats, cleaner weekly exports, and a quicker way to see what actually happened without digging through a bunch of screens.
The analytics area just feels clunky to me, like I’d click around expecting a basic number to be right there and somehow still not find it, and while support did respond, it didn’t really solve the problem, so if reporting is a big deal for your team I’d spend some time testing that part before you commit

"Solid texting tool that I’d trust for quick updates"
I’ve been using Mobile Text Alerts for reminders and quick updates, my instinct was that it would be straightforward—and it mostly has been. Setting up groups, scheduling texts, and sending messages from the dashboard is easy enough once you get going. I also like having templates ready to use, and it’s nice that people can reply back too. A few of the settings took me a little time to figure out, so it’s not completely perfect, but overall it’s reliable and does what I need without a lot of hassle.

The API does what it’s supposed to do, so no real complaints there. But my first gut feeling during setup was that it felt a bit clunky. The docs got me there eventually, but I kept feeling like they could be clearer or more intuitive in a few spots.

I’ve been using Mobile Text Alerts for a while now, it’s been one of those tools I don’t have to think much about, which is a good thing. I set up my messages, they go out when they’re supposed to, and I haven’t run into any weird downtime or surprises so far. It’s straightforward to use, and overall I’ve been really happy with it.

"Easy enough, but the timing was frustrating"
It was easy to use overall, though a couple parts threw me off and took a minute to figure out. My main gripe is the timing, of course the confusing stuff popped up right when I was trying to get things done quickly, which made it more annoying than it needed to be.

I don’t remember every single detail, but I do remember waiting a long time and feeling like I wasn’t really getting clear answers. Maybe there were a couple replies, but nothing that actually helped much.

The scheduling works fine for the most part, like I said, it gets the job done. I just wish there were more flexible options because sometimes it feels a little limited. Like I said, it’s decent, just not quite as convenient as I’d hoped

"Billing could definitely be clearer"
The texting feature itself worked fine for me, no real issues there. But the billing was confusing. I didn’t feel like it was clearly laid out what I was actually paying for until after the fact, which was frustrating. Maybe I missed a small detail somewhere, but I was specifically looking for it and still felt unsure. It just made the whole experience a little more annoying than it needed to be.

"Contact tools feel a bit clunky"
The contact management tools felt a little rough to use. Editing groups and cleaning up duplicate contacts took more clicks than I expected. Frustrating. I can see it being okay for a small list, but if your contact list gets bigger, it would probably become a hassle quickly.
